S5: Ep.13 It's Ram's turn to roll. You're supposed to use a dice cup, but instead he shakes them in his hands. Illegal! The dice land correctly on the right hand side, but one rolls off onto the table. He's supposed to roll again, as it's not allowed. Ram ignores it, the camera moves up to Ram crowing over a good throw, and we who are watching are presumed too ignorant of the rules or not to have noticed. But Ruby would have made him roll again. She doesn't. Rule: The dice must be rolled together and land flat on the surface of the right-hand section of the board. The player must reroll both dice if a die lands outside the right-hand board, or lands on a checker, or does not land flat. Ram picks up the dice, and presumably makes his move. We don't actually see his hands do either. Ram immediately rolls and throws again, and is about to throw a third time when Slade warns that Lex is on his way. That's not how you play Backgammon. The whole point of the game is that each player takes turns. Cloud9 apparently believe it's played like Solitaire.
